Résumé : Cet article s'intéresse aux conditions de réutilisation de scénarios mis en oeuvre par des enseignants. Nous nous basons sur une expérimentation concernant l'organisation d'une séquence pédagogique en sciences de la vie et de la terre dans l'enseignement secondaire. Cette expérimentation, effectuée dans le cadre de travaux de recherche en didactique des sciences, vise à proposer et tester des modalités de mise en oeuvre d'une démarche d'investigation en sciences basée sur l'utilisation d'outils numériques complémentaires et comprenant un ensemble de modalités variées (travail en classe, à la maison, sur le terrain). L'objectif de cette contribution est de démontrer que le scénario mis en oeuvre correspond à une démarche-type (ici la démarche d'investigation scientifique) appliquée à un contexte spécifique. Le contexte tient notamment compte des particularités liées à la discipline (ici la géologie), ainsi que des contraintes organisationnelles, spatiales, temporelles, techniques et économiques dans lesquelles s'inscrivent les activités. A partir de cette analyse, nous tentons de dégager un modèle précisant les places respectives des dimensions didactique, pédagogique ou situationnelle dans l'élaboration des scénarios. Nous soulevons enfin des questions relatives à l'indexation de scénarios à partir de laquelle pourraient être mises en oeuvre de nouvelles stratégies de réutilisation. Résumé : Les résultats de cette opération de diagnostic permettent de mieux cerner les différentes phases d’occupation du site sur une période d’environ dix siècles entre la Protohistoire et le Bas-Empire et illustrent aussi la densité des vestiges avec l’enchevêtrement de constructions distantes de plusieurs siècles.

Résumé : BACKGROUND: The methods most commonly used to measure malarial antibody titres are the Indirect Fluorescence Antibody Test (IFAT), regarded as the gold standard, and the Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSorbent Assay (ELISA). The objective here was to assess the diagnostic performance, i.e. the sensitivity and specificity, of a new malaria antibody ELISA kit in comparison to IFAT. This new ELISA kit, the ELISA malaria antibody test (DiaMed), uses a combination of crude soluble Plasmodium falciparum extract and recombinant Plasmodium vivax antigens. METHODS: Two groups were used: 95 samples from malaria patients to assess the clinical sensitivity and 2,152 samples from blood donors, who had not been exposed to malaria, to assess the clinical specificity. RESULTS: The DiaMed ELISA test kit had a clinical sensitivity of 84.2% and a clinical specificity of 99.6% as compared with 70.5% and 99.6% respectively, using the IFAT method. The ELISA method was more sensitive than the IFAT method for P. vivax infections (75% vs. 25%). However, in 923 malaria risk donors the analytical sensitivity of the ELISA test was 40% and its specificity 98.3%, performances impaired by large numbers of equivocal results non-concordant between ELISA and IFAT. When the overall analytical performances of ELISA was compared to IFAT, the ELISA efficiency J index was 0.84 versus 0.71 for IFAT. Overall analytical sensitivity was 93.1% and the analytical specificity 96.7%. Overall agreement between the two methods reached 0.97 with a reliability k index of 0.64. CONCLUSION: The DiaMed ELISA test kit shows a good correlation with IFAT for analytical and clinical parameters. It may be an interesting method to replace the IFAT especially in blood banks, but further extensive investigations are needed to examine the analytical performance of the assay, especially in a blood bank setting.

Résumé : The goal of the present study was to record changes in bone mineral density (BMD) and markers of bone turnover in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who were treated with methotrexate combined (or not combined) with infliximab. Included were 90 patients with RA who required anti-TNF-alpha therapy with infliximab because of persistent active disease despite treatment with methotrexate. The historical control group included 99 patients with RA who were treated with methotrexate at a time when anti-TNF-alpha treatment was not yet available. Lumbar and femoral neck BMD was measured using dual energy X-ray absorptiometry at baseline and 1 year later. Osteocalcin, C-terminal cross-linked telopeptide of type I collagen, parathyroid hormone and 25-hydroxycholecalciferol were measured in plasma at baseline and 1 year later. At 1 year BMD had decreased in the control group at spine (P < 0.01) and femoral neck (P < 0.001). In contrast, BMD at spine and femoral neck did not change after 1 year of infliximab treatment. At the same time point, no change in bone remodelling markers was observed. No association was observed between clinical response and changes in BMD, indicating that even those who did not respond clinically did not lose bone over a 1-year period. These data confirm the BMD decrease observed in RA patients treated with methotrexate alone. This bone loss was prevented by infliximab therapy. Importantly, this beneficial effect was also observed in apparent nonresponders.

Résumé : Cet article présente le projet Cogni-CISMeF dont le but est la mise en place d'un dialogue Homme-Machine pour l'amélioration de la recherche d'informations dans un système d'indexation de connaissances médicales CISMeF. Nous adoptons une démarche de modélisation cognitive et procédons au recueil d'un corpus de dialogues entre un utilisateur désirant une information médicale et un expert qui va affiner cette demande pour construire la requête. L'analyse de notre corpus permet de mettre en évidence l'établissement d'un terrain commun, une structuration du dialogue en sous-dialogues et des effets d'" accommodation " avec l'utilisateur. De cette analyse, nous construisons un modèle cognitif d'agent artificiel capable de dialoguer avec l'utilisateur pour l'aider dans sa tâche de recherche d'information.

Résumé : The concomitant use of polycationic dendrimers and cationic surfactants for the elaboration of periodic mesoporous silica of type MCM-41 is described. The hexagonal structure is preserved up to about 26% in weight of dendrimer included in the silica. The cationic surfactant can be selectively removed to liberate the pores, while preserving the non-covalently incorporated dendrimers. These dendrimers included in the mesoporous silica are fully accessible through the mesoporous volume to small molecules such as HCl and tetrahydrofuran.

Résumé : We present an overview of the open source library synaps. We describe some of the representative algorithms of the library and illustrate them on some explicit computations, such as solving polynomials and computing geometric information on implicit curves and surfaces. Moreover, we describe the design and the techniques we have developed in order to handle a hierarchy of generic and specialized data-structures and routines, based on a view mechanism. This allows us to construct dedicated plugins, which can be loaded easily in an external tool. Finally, we show how this design allows us to embed the algebraic operations, as a dedicated plugin, into the external geometric modeler axel.
