Résumé : We present, in this article, a “topic map” system applied to the Open Source Software (OSS) com-munity. Our approach is deliberately open and based on the HyperTopic model created by Tech-CICO lab. Our collective experimentation aims at the construction of a shared information platform that would be visible and useable for the OSS community. Thanks to this platform, OSS commu-nity members can describe and find software appli-cations, by browsing multi-point of view “topic maps”. Everyone may declare the characteristics of a software project following an index structure made of several tree diagrams. Thus, the commu-nity will build, in an ideal case, collective seman-tics “in progress”. We present this project as an example of a “Socio-Semantic Web” (S2W). We also detail the Hyper-Topic model, on which is based our application, and the AGORAE platform which brings this soft-ware application into play. The HyperTopic model is inspired by the simple semantic models of “topic maps”, but it enriches this approach by two new dimensions. First, it aims at improving the repre-sentation of shared meaning artifacts (in this case: software applications), of the social actors and of their activities. Résumé : Spectral observations of the Sun in the vacuum-ultraviolet wavelength range by SUMER on SOHO led to the discovery of unusual emission features - called humps here - at 116.70 nm and 117.05 nm on either side of the He I 58.43 nm line. This resonance line is seen in the second order of diffraction, whereas the humps are recorded in the first order with the SUMER spectrometer. In its spectra both orders are superimposed. Two less pronounced humps can be detected at 117.27 nm and near 117.85 nm. After rejecting various possibilities of an instrumental cause of the humps, they are studied in different solar regions. Most of the measurements, in particular those related to the limb-brightening characteristics, indicate that the humps are not part of the background continuum. An assembly of spectrally-unresolved atomic or ionic emission lines might be contributing to the hump at 117.05 nm, but no such lines are known near 116.7 nm. It is concluded that we detect genuine radiation, the generation of which is not understood. A two-photon emission process, parametric frequency down conversion, and molecular emissions are briefly considered as causes of the humps, but a final conclusion could not be reached.

Résumé : We propose a method to compute the Isgur-Wise form factors tau_1/2(1) and tau_3/2(1) for the decay of B mesons into orbitally excited (P wave) D** charmed mesons on the lattice in the static limit. We also present the result of an exploratory numerical simulation which shows that the signal/noise ratio allows for a more dedicated computation. We find tau_1/2(1)=0.38(5) and tau_3/2(1)= 0.53(8), with yet unknown systematic errors. These preliminary numbers agree fairly well with theoretical expectation.

Résumé : The VITRUV project has the objective to deliver milli-arcsecond spectro-images of the environment of compact sources like young stars, active galaxies and evolved stars to the community. This instrument of the VLTI second generation based on the integrated optics technology is able to combine from 4 to 8 beams from the VLT telescopes. Working primarily in the near infrared, it will provide intermediate to high spectral resolutions and eventually polarization analysis. This paper summarizes the result from the concept study led within the Joint Research Activity advanced instruments of the OPTICON program.
